This micro-series was created during the Arturo Rodríguez artist residency in Oaxaca in the spring of 2023. It brings together four watercolours portraying animals from southern Mexico, closely connected to the local landscape and culture.

Inspired by the concept of inhabiting space, the reproduction of this micro-series in various formats gave rise to a collection that spans both stationery and interior design objects. The series is presented in monochrome versions as well as in two colour palettes, designed to suit different environments.

With this collection, we aim to integrate the natural imagery of southern Mexico into everyday life — enriching spaces with a visual language that is contemporary, artisanal, and deeply rooted in the region.
